Zinerin^®
(Ginger Extract Capsules)

• Zinerin Forte^® capsules contain a standardized amount of ginger extract (Zingiber officinale). One capsule is equal to 3.5 g of dried ginger root. 
• ginger  extract has been prepared by a patented supercritical extraction method where the active compounds are extracted as gentle and effectively as possible for the benefit of human body.
• The active compounds of ginger  are ethereal oils, mainly sesquiterpenes such as zingiber, alpha-curcumin and beta-bisabolon. Other effective compounds include gingerols and shogaols.
• Zinerin Forte ^® capsules do not irritate stomach. Capsules contain also valuable safflower oil.

Usage

• ginger  (Zingiber officinale) is often advocated as beneficial for vomiting, seasickness, morning sickness and chemotherapy-induced nausea. Ginger is also an effective treatment for nausea and vomiting in pregnancy.
• ginger  has been traditionally used e.g. in China for relieving rheumatism disorders. Recent studies also show ginger extract  a statistically significant effect on reducing symptoms of osteoarthritis of the knee.
• ginger  has favourable influence on on muscles and joints condition by e.g. alleviating soreness and stiffness of joints.
• In cases of inflammation transmitter substances such as harmful prostaglandins and leukotrienes are formed in the body. These substances cause e.g. pain and swelling in joints. ginger  reduces the formation of harmful prostaglandins and leukotrienes and alleviates pain, improves mobility and reduces swelling in joints and morning stiffness.
• In animal experiments, ginger is comparatively as effective as ascorbic acid as an antioxidant. Dietary consumption of ginger extract significantly attenuates the development of atherosclerotic lesions. This antiatherogenic effect is associated with a significant reduction in plasma and LDL cholesterol levels and a significant reduction in the LDL basal oxidative state, as well as their susceptibility to oxidation and aggregation.
