Xylisweet ACEROLA Plus
(Natural Vitamin C and E Supplementation)

• Xylisweet ACEROLA Plus is a sweet vitamin C and vitamin E supplement with raspberry taste.
• It is a registered food supplement.
• One tablet a day contains 60 mg vitamin C,  and 10 mg vitamin E i.e. 100 % of the RDA.
• It contains 59.2 % Xylitol (birch sugar) , which is good for teeth.
• It contains Acerola cherry powder and black currant powder, both are rich in vitamin C.
• Ingredients:

  • Dried acerola powder..... 31.4 % (equivalent to 48 g acerola/tablet)
  • Black currant powder........3    %
  • Vitamin E............................2.1 %
  • raspberry aroma

• ACEROLA SWEET in which sucrose, glucose and fructose are as sweetener is also available.

Usage

• Vitamin C and vitamin E are the most important antioxidant vitamins.
• Studies find that vitamin E supplement users have approximately 40% lower rates of CHD. Many other studies have also reported vitamin E to reduce the risk of cardiovascular disease.
• Vitamin C involves in immune physiology and, since it is vital for the integrity of cells, is needed by every tissue in the body. It is, like the B vitamins, water-soluble, and for this reason our bodies are unable to store it; adequate quantities must be provided on a daily basis.
• One major function is the manufacture of collagen, the main ingredient of all connective tissue-ligament, tendon, bone, and skin. Therefore it is vital for wound repair, healthy gums, and protection of blood vessels to prevent easy bruising.
• Recent scientific evidence indicates that an increased intake of Vitamin C is associated with a reduced risk of chronic diseases such as cancer, cardiovascular disease, and cataract, probably through antioxidant mechanisms.
• Vitamin C is also needed
  During physical or mental stress
  During a bacterial or viral infection for the formation of antibodies
  To assist in the absorption and assimilation of iron
  To maintain skin's good health and elasticity
  To reduce the risk of allergies
  To speed up recovery after injuries and operations
  To reduce blood cholesterol

  As extra vitamin C is secreted out of the body in 2-3 hours after its consumption, it is advisable to consume (e.g.) a 60 mg tablet 5 times daily instead of a single daily intake of 300 mg.

  Several studies have shown that xylitol (birch sugar) produces a preventive influence on the formation of dental cavities.
